Wayne Rooney says he is prepared to miss Manchester United's Champions League trip to CSKA Moscow if it clashes with wife Coleen giving birth.
The couple's first child is due on 24 October- also Rooney's 24th birthday - three days after United play in Moscow.
"Of course I want to be there for the birth of my child," said the striker.
"If anything happens around the days of travelling then I'm sure I'll stay back and won't go, but unless that happens I will be there playing."
United top Group B after winning their opening two matches.
After beating Besiktas 1-0, they made it two wins out of two with a 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg on Wednesday.
